John Michael Dixon was born April, 1922 in Epsom, Surrey. Son of Harold and Lena Dixon (née Whitmarsh). He served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, as a Flying Officer (Pilot) in 145 Squadron, 173908. John was killed when his aircraft came down on 16 September, 1944.
John Edward Hulland (known as Jack) was born 29 June, 1922 in Bishopsteignton, Devon. Son of Edward and Ethel Hulland (née Taylor). He served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, as a Flight Sergeant (Air Gunner) in 622 Squadron, 1410959. Jack was killed when his aircraft came down on 20 April, 1945.
Harold Biffen was born in June, 1921 in Reigate, Surrey. Son of Walter and Helen Biffen (née Pennycuick); husband of Hazel Mercedes Cecilia Biffen (née Watling).
He served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, as a warrant officer (wireless operator/air gunner), 1336043.
Harold was killed when his aircraft crashed on 8th Jan, 1945.
Richard George Patrick Bernard Dyer was born January 1925, in Newton Abbot, Devon. Son of William John and Violet Dyer (née Damerell); married to Rosalind Dyer (née Hall) of Brixham, Devon. He served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve as a sergeant, 1585784. He died in Egypt, on 12th April, 1944.
George Valentine was born in April, 1921 in West Derby, Lancashire. Son of John and Ellen Valentine (née Speakman); married to Irene Margaret Valentine (née Houlton). He served in 31 (S.A.A.F.) Squadron in the Royal Air Force as an officer pilot, 54979. He died in Italy on 30th September, 1944.
